Download Wonder saves you time by controlling file downloads independent of your browser, which allows you to:

1. Full support to resume interrupted downloads, either at the time of the interruption or at any time in the future, from both HTTP and FTP servers which support resume.
2. Maintenance of partially downloaded files in the database, i.e., partial downloads appear in Table View with a partially eaten floppy disk icon in the left-most column.
3. Keep-Alive feature simulates Internet browsing activity at user-specificed random intervals to prevent your ISP and even AOL from disconnecting you after extended periods of non-use.
4. Automatic database backup at user specificed intervals.
5. Sound has been added at the beginning and end of a download, and when a download error occurs. If you don't want the sounds, delete the 3 .WAV files in the folder in which Download Wonder is installed.
6. Configure your proxy server using the new Proxy tab in the Preferences section.
7. You can now configure the action, i.e., "Run", "Open", etc., performed when you double-click on a highlighted entry in Table View, using a new entry field on the General tab in the Preferences section.
8. The Download Wonder - File Download Information dialog box has been enhanced to show whether or not a download can be resumed, the % of download completed, and the estimated time to completion for the download.
9. A checkbox has been added to the Download Wonder - File Download Information dialog box which allows the user to specify if they want to disconnect from the Internet when the download completes. The state of this checkbox will be inherited by all concurrent downloads, i.e., when checked, the checkbox will be checked on all concurrent downloads and disconnection will occur when the last download completes.
10. The new Download Options tab under View Preferences... on the Main menu allows users to configure many download related options including number of times to automatically retry a failed or interrupted download.
11. When switching from Form View to Table View, the last record displayed in Form View is now the highlighted record in Table View.
12. You can now bypass Intercept Browser Downloads for a hyperlink by using the <Alt> + left-click key/mouse combination, instead of unchecking Intercept Browser Downloads. This is very useful if you've checked the .exe extension on the File Types tab under View Preferences... on the Main menu and Download Wonder has unexpectedly popped up when you've clicked on a Submit, Search, or similar pushbutton on a web page.
13. You can now force Download Wonder to Intercept Browser Downloads for a hyperlink by using the <Ctrl> + <Alt> + left-click key/mouse combination.
14. The Download Wonder - File Download Information dialog box Taskbar button now includes the pyramid icon and displays the % of download completed.
15. The toolbar now uses flat, browser-style buttons.
16. In Table View, the current sort column and direction are now indicated by an indented arrowhead in the column heading.
17. Server-side error messages have been translated into plain English where possible.
